The way to make builds is to put damage, utility, degen, defense, and heals. This build clearly has all 5.

That is an interesting set up but not what i had in mind more of the standard set up.

Savageshot,Ditracting shot,elite of choice (magebane,braodhead arrow or punishing shot)troll ungent,apply poison or barbed arrows,natural stride,lighting reflexes and a res.

12+1+1 marks 10+1 in exp. 7+1 in ws and if rebirth 4 in protect.

I just use the standard GvG burning arrow ranger in PVE. Works fine. Sometimes i just go R/ME with epidemic to spread poison around so that i can focus on one target i.e. boss.

PVE Ranger? Go with Sabway and leech on your heroes

Im running Barrage,volley, keen arrow, point blank shot, GoLE, Drunken master, Pain Inveter and the Pocket portable sin.

With 9 disposable exploding minions who care about doing dmg or not. just run with stuff you like and cover for whatever you think sabway is missing for the area you're doing.

PVE is way different from PvP, predictable foes, they all have the same skills so they are easely countered. The only real challenge you can get from PvE is with Blood washes Blood mission or slaver,s exile dungeon HM. Balance charr groups are really fun to take on.

Why would you use both [[Barrage] and [[Volley] on the same bar? If you are using Barrage, Volley is inferior. I thought the whole point of Volley is to take it in place of Barrage, and use a different Elite.

vamp bow+ [Order of Pain]+[Mark of Pain]+[splinter weapon]+[Brutal Weapon] on heroes.

A widescreen is a must to see all the yellow numbers fly by.

I use the usual Barrage build with D-shot , Savage Shot , lightning reflexes , antidote signet , troll , hard res and "I am the strongest". Heroes provide me with splinter , I run a sabway with a different hero instead the SS ( depending of the area ). For tougher area's I go BHA+epidemic.
PvE for a ranger is a like walk in the park.

spreading conditions is fun.

Beastmaster is also a nice way to go in PvE

I never really liked barrage, because enemy run around and spread out often so i only hit 1-2 at once.
